PAY RATES
Base Pay Range- $16.76-$22.52Uncertified $17.92-24.08 Certified after attending Academy
(Rates do not include shift, weekend or holiday differentials)
Duties include the supervision of male and female inmates in a direct supervision setting. You will be expected to keep up with physical requirements of the job. Once you are employed and a Corrections Academy is taking place- you may attend the Corrections Academy where you will undergo training to become a certified corrections officer. You will be required to complete continuous yearly training to maintain your certification.
Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or the equivalent; must meet physical fitness requirements on a yearly basis; must meet all physical and mental requirements (see requirements of the Cooper Physical Standard Agility Test) as required by the New Hampshire Retirement System. Candidates must submit to a thorough background investigation and criminal record check.
